Radio frequency skin tightening, or RF treatment, is a non-invasive procedure that involves applying radio waves to your skin. These waves prompt your skin to produce more collagen and elastin while also speeding up cell turnover. This results in firmer, thicker skin leaving it tighter and smoother. This procedure is typically done on the face and neck to address sagging skin on the cheeks and along the jawline, under our clients chin and to smooth our wrinkles on the neck. We will need you to avoid prolonged unprotected direct sunlight or tanning beds 2 weeks prior to treatment and that you avoid waxing in the treated area. We recommend avoiding perfumes, harsh skin care products, makeup, and deodorant the day of treatment or harsh peels to the treatment area for at least the week prior to the treatment.

The Radio Frequency Skin Tightening procedure is minimally invasive, and does not physically penetrate the skin. The treatment sends radio frequency through the skin that generates heat. Clients may experience a warming effect that causes little to know discomfort.

Expect your skin to be be flush to bright red which will fade within 48 hours. We recommend avoiding sun exposure for the first 24 hours after the procedure and that you to always apply a broad spectrum SPF 25 or higher. We recommend a gentle cleanser and moisturizer but we recommend you avoid makeup and any other products being applied to the treated area for the first 24 hours.

Some see improvements to their skin weeks after their first treatment, but since it takes your body time to produce collagen and elastin and to send it to the treated area, several treatments will provide the best results. For maximum benefits, we recommend clients receive multiple sessions spaced out every 1-2 weeks in order to give you the best results possible. You should find that with each session your skin continues to improve as the treatment is cumulative with your best results being seen at the end of your treatment sessions. Your results will last anywhere from 6 - 12 months, and many patients schedule follow-up treatments twice a year to maintain their results.

Yes it is. The treatment is very effective for treating all skin tones.
The radio waves that penetrate the skin in the treated area may caus a warming sensation but this is not painful.
Microneedling RF uses needles to penetrate the skin so the procedure can only be performed about every 4 weeks and has some levels of discomfort. Radio Frequency skin tightening has no needles so the recovery time is nearly non existent. The skin tightening treatments can be repeated as often as once a week for rabid results. However both are effective at tightening the skin as well as evening out textures.
