After deciding to go through with our advanced acne treatment program, we’ll sit with you and go over your journey up to this point. We'll ask questions like what causes your outbreaks, whether you use photosensitive medicines, and how much time you spend in direct sunlight. After gathering all that information, we'll move you onto the treatment plan.
Each treatment begins with a double cleanse, HydroFacial, and extractions to give you a fresh face. Then, we'll move on to IPL treatments to rid the affected area of acne-causing bacteria. Once finished, you’ll receive post-treatment care info to do while you’re at home.
These following treatments will be scheduled about three to four weeks apart and are essentially maintenance. We perform the exfoliating and cleansing services and any extractions. These will complete your treatment program, but we have plenty of facials you can continue to book for regular maintenance and upkeep on your progress.
Throughout the program, we will recommend Face Realty acne treatment products to assist with acne removal. These prescription grade meds cost, on average, $100-$150 outside of the treatment cost but boast a 90% effective rate upon completing the program. There is no commitment to purchase these products.

The boot camp includes a consultation and initial advanced acne treatment lasting about 90 minutes. Then there will be two more treatments lasting up to 60 minutes each. Each client will be provided with a recommended home treatment routine along with guidance on which Face Realty products are right for their needs.

This 75-minute advanced acne treatment facial for acne-prone skin is the same treatment we give those who signed on for our boot camp without the follow-up visits. We will start with a double cleanse and a HydroFacial with extractions. Once your face is fresh, clean, and hydrated we will move on to an advanced IPL treatment killing the acne-causing bacteria, addressing swollen acne lesions, and paralyzing overactive oil glands. Each client will be provided with a recommended home treatment routine.

This 60-minute facial is recommended for those who do not want to stop taking prescribed photo-sensitizing medications such as Retinol A or Accutane as required to receive the advanced acne fighting facial and do not want to commit to follow-up visits. We will complete the same HydroFacial, extractions, and include a bacteria-killing high-frequency skin treatment to get you started. We will also provide a recommended face cleansing routine and products for your skin.

Results vary by client depending on the severity of your acne, it typically takes three to four months to clear up after the first acne treatment. However, many clients begin to see a noticeable difference in their acne within the first month when combining the use of Face Reality products with one of our acne treatments provided in our Clackamas and Portland locations.
Face Reality skincare products are professional-grade and formulated to address skin concerns such as acne. As licensed skincare professionals and certified acne specialists, we offer these products as recommendations as part of customized treatment plans. These products can be purchased at our Portland and Clackamas locations when you come in for treatment or if you only want the products. Since we are often busy with our clients, if you are only wanting product, it is best to give us a call ahead of time and let us know when you will be in so we can be ready for you and be available to answer any addition questions that you may have.
Absolutely! Our acne bootcamp is a great way to actively fight acne and it can be done on the body as well as the face in our Clackamas and Portland locations. Depending on the size of the area being treated, there may be an additional charge for those services.
